Business Assessment, Performance Improvement, Rationalization & Restructuring

Few Western multinational corporations can operate as they did when they first entered China 10 to 15 years ago. Rising labor costs, slow export markets, currency appreciation and increased Chinese competition are among several key factors putting downward pressure on sales and margins.

To continue growing in China, many companies understand the need to evaluate their business model. EWA has the ability to support companies in an assessment through Rationalization or Restructuring if required.

In addition, EWA coordinates all necessary activity with local labor boards, tax authorities, etc. to ensure the company is closed in compliance with all Chinese laws and regulations.

EWA has a strong local network of senior executives. In fact, we have been able to install an interim General Manager and staff within factories until permanent replacements have been identified.
